Wore it “Roar” it. See what I did there?

Life update:

Fay and Eden will be turning 7 at the end of this month. They asked me if they could have a regular birthday party this year. (Pause for effect) Ask me how I feel about that. *Fine* Ask me how I really feel about that. *Slap to the face!* Ha! Disclaimer… Birthday parties, in general, are fabulous! However, I LOVE LOVE LOVE (did I say LOVE?) planning Fay’s and Eden’s birthday party. I typically plan for months, work on stuff for weeks, and then go full-on psycho beast-mode 24 hours prior to party time. The girls ended up deciding on a theme for their party this year so we’ll see how that goes.

Leo is 7.5 months. He is such a happy little camper 99.9% of the time. He is almost crawling. He just can’t seem to figure out how to go forwards quite yet, and believe me… he is quite frustrated about that. He LOVES cucumbers. He makes “yucky” faces when trying out all other foods so far. He does not sleep for very long stretches at night. YAWN… Did you just yawn? … How about now?… And now?

I’m realizing that I’m turning into my mom more and more every day, and I love it! She LIVED in overalls when I was growing up! I knew I wanted to wear overalls for our denim on denim How We Wore It post. Denim on top, denim on the bottom! All in one piece. Plus… when you have a baby, you kinda wear your baby a lot, so here you’ll literally see denim ON denim. Denim used to be my staple but I think it’s been replaced by yoga pants. Ha! However… denim is still great. I love denim. Blah, blah, blah. And so on, and so forth.
I always “oooo” and “awww”  over my friends’ posts. I’m excited to see what they pulled together for each of their denim on denim looks. Their blogs are linked below.

Leo is swimming in his overalls… which are a hand-me-down that at least 3 of the 5 of us siblings have worn many moons ago. These pictures are pretty typical of a day at home with Mama and Leo. Thank you again, Nicole, for capturing this fun play-time for us. Treasures.  Leo and I don’t usually match quite this darlingly. 😉 Please note our matching Dino Tee’s. (Hence the “Roar” it.) Gushing!
