How We Wore It | Braided

You guys! As I’m sitting down to write this post, I’m kicking myself for not of thinking to have had Josh braid one of the girls’ hair for you to witness. Years ago, I taught Josh how to braid. I told him that if anything happened to me, we couldn’t have our children looking homeless. He had to know how to braid. He even knows how to French braid! Yes, ladies! You too can teach your man to braid! Get it done!

It’s so fun blogging for this series with my friends. Be sure to check out their links at the end of this post. AND don’t forget to wish Miss Jordan a Happy birthday! Happy Birthday, Jordan! She is a total beaut and has got talent coming out of her ears! I always love reading her posts and seeing what her darling family is up to.

We are squeezing in one last post for the month of February, Braids. I love the diversity of braids! They are a staple around here. My momiform consists of a side-braid and my cozy extra long cardigan. I added this necklace, which is a gift from my mom from her humanitarian trip with the Shropshire Music Foundation to Greece last spring. We decided to try our own dollar store DIY. Fay has ONE braid in her hair 97% of the time. Eden is a ponytail girl these days, but for the sake of today’s post, she allowed me to do a halo braid. Those are not that easy… this was attempt #2 of the day.

The hubs and I went to a live theatre production a couple of weeks ago, and lucky me, my sister did my hair for me. She braided a chunk of hair from each side, then wrapped each one around the back of my head and pinned them. The “do” you’ll be seeing in this post was fishtail braided! Thanks Em.

I wish I would’ve recorded our dinner conversation a couple nights ago. It was Fay and Eden’s opinions concerning marriage. I’m not even sure how to adequately share what they said, so next time I will pull out some sort of recording device.

Thanks for scrolling!
