Valentine’s Day. Love day. The roses, the chocolates, the romance… It’s cute. But have you heard of Galentine’s Day!? Galentine’s is the perfect time to get together with your favorite gal pals and just go galivanting. Girls need each other. I’m forever grateful for ALL of the girls in my life. The hubs has been hard at work studying away. I’ve made a new friend and I think we’ve spent time together pretty much every day for the past 3+ weeks. We discovered a shared desire to make macarons. Well… we got together once to attempt to make them and from there… we.went.ham. We’ve started up a little side hustle making and selling French Macarons! Give us some love on our Insta page, Macaron Amour XOXO! I must say, our flavors are to die for. Our technique is coming along! We just finished our huge, macaron-making-marathon today. I’m so excited to get our Valentine orders out tomorrow! EEEEK! Now we just need more ovens! We’re super blown away by the love and support we’ve received! We can’t keep up! This post features less about my outfit and more about our Galentine’s date to the biiiiiiig city to learn more about how to French Macaron.

So briefly… my outfit. Oy. I’m finding it so difficult to dress the bump this time around! If only you couldn’t see what I was wearing today! Embarrassment! I managed to put this outfit together. I think the fringe is super fun. I love this hand-me-down purse that my Great-Aunt Hellen, gave me. It’s the cutest!

Kassidy and I stumbled across this class and were able to squeeze in to the last two open spots. We are SO GLAD we were able to go! (Thanks, MOM! For watching the munchkins! -side note… Leo went to bed like a charm for her!)

We learned some valuable tips and thoroughly enjoyed listening to our instructor’s French accent. We can’t wait to go back!
