How We Wore It | Spring Sleeves

Spring. Sleeves. And Screens.

Spring.

What is spring? It’s still winter here!
Every year people around here -myself included- get a little antsy. Some call it spring fever. We ask, “Snow? Again? Really?” “You’ve got to be kidding me.” We roll our eyes and shovel off our driveways again. The other day we saw someone shoveling snow off of their lawn. I repeat… their LAWN. He was rather aggressive as he heaved a pile of snow from the lawn and drastically released the snow to the road. I’m not sure what kind of steam he was trying to blow off. Perhaps he just really wanted to see the grass again.

All kidding aside, I do see signs that spring is, in fact, on its way. Finally. Gophers and bugs. Ha! Is winter really that bad? Because… spiders are that bad.

Sleeves.

I fell in love with the sweaters that Fay and Eden are wearing in this post before Christmas. They’re the most perfect shade of red. I love the flutter on the shoulder and the bell sleeves. Those details really dress up a plain sweater.  Thanks to Andrea and Angie for this shirt they bought for me during my closet remix.  It’s got the trendy embroidery look accompanied by a classic stripe. This sleeve is airy and is perfect for transitioning into spring! My moody poser shots are below. Make sure you check out how my friends wore it! (Links below)

Screens.

Alas. Screens. We’ve been attempting to revamp the screen consumption at home. Limiting screen time is what’s up right now. I’m embarrassed to admit that this is a struggle for me. But I guess acknowledging that is the first step. I’m curious to know what works for you and/or your family. All tips, opinions, ideas, fails, and triumphs are wanted needed!  I love what Hailey Devine shared in her Instagram story a couple weeks ago:
You can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be having a future blog post dedicated to screens- and not for the benefit of screens but for the benefit of LIVING life for real and NOT through a screen. All my love/hate relationships with social media will be revealed. Ha! But in the meantime, sleeves.

Thanks for scrolling friends. XOXO
