This boho post has been in the cards for a few months now and I sure have been looking forward to it! I absolutely love the simplistic, raw, feminine beauty that is “boho.” It’s interesting how styles come back from past decades. My mom was a child of the 70’s. Flower power. Peace. Her go to is definitely long, flowy skirts.

Surprise surprise, the girls’ dresses are from Old Navy. I’ve had my eye this cream dress with gold flecks for sometime…And then I spotted the mint dress and loved the cut and shoulder strap detailing! Sometimes you just can’t say no to a 50% off sale! So 2×2 dresses, one pair of shoes and a box of jewelry later… We were all set for this post!  A couple months ago I spotted a totally rad (see what I did there?) pair of pants that I thought I’d end up using for this post. They are sooooo 70’s boho and I love them. However, a few weeks ago the girls, my mom and I were driving home from a holiday and we made what we thought would be a quick stop at TJ Maxx … I think we were there for two hours! It was great. My mom spotted this dress. She thought it was very me, so I tried it on… and was instantly in love. I’d been looking for a 70’s style dress with a little more length than what I’ve been seeing on the racks. And this was perfect! I love that chokers are coming back as well… I’m sporting a piece of faux-suede wrapped around my neck from a multi coloured pack from the dollar store… $1.50 SCORE.
