Natural Habitat

We went to one of our favourite places again, about a month or so ago. Beautiful little corner of the world nestled in the mountains. Waterton. We went with the intent of seeing some wildlife… elk in particular. Squat. We saw squat. Well, I guess that’s a false statement. One can’t simply go to Waterton and see squat. We just didn’t see what we were looking for.
The natural beauty of mountains reflecting in frigid lake water is always worthwhile and breathtaking.

You don’t always see what your looking for and maybe you’re not always looking for what you see. #deep

I’ve been thinking a lot about perspective. How it turns things inside out and upside down. How you can see things that you never saw before… or at least things you thought you never saw before. A new light.  A fresh look. DSC_0373

These lovey goose girls of mine love to be outside. Running, exploring, and being free.

Josh’s mom has been so gracious in watching Fay and Eden while we’re at work. They absolutely LOVE going to Grandma’s house. They’re always asking, “Is it time to go yet? Is it time to go?”DSC_0350Their sweet cousin Alexa lives at grandma’s house. She is the best cousin ever! The girls absolutely adore her and they play so well together.DSC_0354DSC_0352
There’s no doubt about it… Fay and Eden are daddy’s girls. DSC_0324 DSC_0323They’re pretty silly…. little munchkins… tiny monsters.
